Showcasing some of the biggest Saltwater crocodiles in Australia, and boasting the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles, Crocosaurus Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Darwin and the Top End!
With nine reptile shows daily, there are plenty of hands-on and educational activities to enjoy. Don’t miss the Big Croc Feed Show, where you can witness the powerful bite force of a Saltwater crocodile! Enjoy a close encounter with some of Australia’s native snakes and lizards during the Meet the Reptiles show, or jump on the Fishing for Crocs platform and feed the very active juvenile crocodiles. Take a picture with the photogenic baby crocodile, and cool off in the Swim with the Crocs pool, available for all ages!
For a behind the scenes look at Crocosaurus Cove, try the Big Croc Feed VIP Experience! This 1.5-hour fully guided tour offers you the chance to feed one of the massive Saltwater crocodiles yourself! Also enjoy an exclusive tour through the Reptile House where you can meet some of unique Top End critters, gain express entry to the Fishing for Crocs platform and spend some time with Fluffy the baby crocodile. Available for groups of two to eight people, this intimate and informative tour is a one-of-a-kind experience. Offered at 10am and 1pm daily.
And if that’s not close enough, the Cage of Death is just for you! This 15-minute experience brings you face-to-face with one of the five-metre-plus Saltwater crocodiles. As you are lowered right into the crocodile’s enclosure via an overhead monorail, you can marvel at their prehistoric features and mesmerising gaze. This is a truly heart-pumping experience that must be undertaken to be believed! There are only 12 slots available per day, so book ahead to avoid disappointment. Open 9am to 6pm daily.
