Pudakul Aboriginal Cultural Tours is an established 100 percent fully Aboriginal owned and operated family business delivering an original, authentic Aboriginal culture- and nature-based engagement experience rich with information and knowledge.
It has a regular Aboriginal Cultural Tour departing at 10.30am daily for two hours from May until the end of October. This tour provides an introduction to everyday life and how the local people live in the seasons. You will learn about local bush plants, throw a spear, play a didj, and learn about dilly bag and basket weaving.
There’s also an all-day on country tour with pick-ups in the city for a practical day on country collecting and stripping fibres, making spears and clapsticks and eating bush tucker. Plus, there are combination tours with a Jumping Crocodile or Wetland Cruise – find out more at the website. Contact: Lynette Kenyon.
